This Tuesday's topic is about problems we have which are related to books. Well.. I have some.. errr, I mean a lot problems while reading. Does buying books also included in this topic? If it is yes, then I have a looot.
SLOW PACE OF FIRST CHAPTERS
When I start reading book, I often take a lot of time, usually it is because of the slow pace of the first chapters. There are two options for this problem: continue reading or just leave it. I choose the second option the most lately. (One of the reason I have slow progress in reading.. ;_;)
"HEY, DO YOU KNOW BLAH BLAH .... ?!"
I hate being interrupted while reading! I can't remember how many times someone keep asking me about unimportant stuffs while I'm reading. Oh, please.. don't you see I'm reading now?! :'( This happened too last night: I was almost done reading Allegiant and that was the moment I started crying then my brother came and talked to me about the flavor of new mineral water he drank moment ago. I really want to punch his face with this book. Really!
You've just finished the first book in the series and it ends with cliffhanger ending and you can't do anything but wait for a
thousand year for the next book. Cool!
That feeling you got when you've just finished a book and it's already days but you still couldn't go anywhere but kept holding that book. Example: Dear Roth, I'm still shocked with the ending of Allegiant. *rewind, rewind, rewind*
"BUT THE MOVIE IS MUCH BETTER!!!"
I know it's just the matter of taste. But I really hate people who said the movie is better while they haven't read the book. -_- Hey, this is for you:
70% BOOK SALE
"I won't buy any book this month!" Nah, really? There's 70% discount for each book in xxx's site. You know what? I-won't-buy-book doesn't really exist in this world. :')
One of the most amazing smell in this world is the smell of books, whether it's new or old. I always love sniffing book, even if my sister always says I'm crazy whenever I sniff them. :p
LITTLE EVIL FRIEND CALLED INTERNET
Pardon my words. x) I bet internet is the biggest distraction not only while reading but also while doing other things. I can spend hours browsing pictures or downloading dramas (no, I rarely do chatting) then forget the agenda I've made before that I should continue reading. :')
CAN'T HIDE EMOTION
I ever read book in class while waiting for the lecturer to come. I was laughing so hard. My friends were looking at me but I really didn't care. Screw them! I also ever cried in my bedroom while reading book then my sister came, she looked at me with that are-you-insane expression but I just looked at her and said, "what should I do now?".
I can't lend my book to everyone. I mean, I love my books and if they want to borrow my book, they have to have this qualification: you can borrow it if you can give it back to me without any damage with that book. Can you?
What about you? What's your book related problems? :)))
